When Your 9-Year-Old Book Makes the LA Times

So this is small, but I thought it was pretty cool. Hallway Diaries, which includes my novella “How to Be Down” got a nice shout-out in the Los Angeles Times article, “‘I want to cry. I’m in book heaven.’ How one reading advocate hopes to change the lives of juvenile hall detainees through a library.”

Guess Who is a Film Independent Screenwriting Fellow?

Yep, you guessed right! So grateful to be selected as a 2016 Film Independent Screenwriting Fellow for my film Openended. The Screenwriting Lab is a five-week program designed to help writers improve their craft and take their current scripts to the next level. My project was one of six selected.
