While doing some research on Barnes & Noble, I came across a review for PATTERSON HEIGHTS. The first I've seen actually. And it's a great one!

Writers are very tough-skinned. We have to be.

But we're also for the most part, very sensitive. It's a hard balance. Throw in that self-doubt that peeks its head at the weirdest times and you've got complication.

So I was really, really quite excited that the first review gave my debut YA novel five stars. Here's part of the review:

The last two chapters of this book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Patterson Heights was a page turner from author Felicia Pride. Not many teen books tackle the subject of sibling loss and therapy and vividly as Pride does.
