Percival Everett's Erasure to Big Screen
03/09/09
Publishing/Literary
I'm thrilled about this. Percival Everett's book ERASURE, one of my favorites will be heading to the big screen under the leadership of Angela Bassett and husband Courtney Vance.
Okay, I'll admit. I'm a little nervous about the possibility that the movie will disappoint just from the mere fact that turning books into movies ain't easy and is rarely as poignant at the book. But I'll still be at the theater whenever it drops!

I hear ya on that.
The fact that they changed the title already has me worried. Besides, there's no way for such a fantastic work to be translated to the big screen in a good way.
