Sapphire's PUSH finally turned into a movie

It has been years since we heard that poet Sapphire's intensely rich book PUSH was opted for film. Well it recently premiered at Sundance and apparently has been receiving rave reviews. The acclaim has come even with a starring role by Mariah Carey. Yikes was our first reaction, but apparently she holds her own.
All we know is that we can't wait to see it. And of course we will have to read the book again. And if you haven't...
