Publishers Weekly has reported that former Saturday Night Live star Tina Fey has inked a book deal with Little, Brown. Fey, who stars in the sitcom 30 Rock, but who has been all over the place because of her Sarah Palin character on Saturday Night Live, is said to have received six million for the deal. Although, that number hasn't been confirmed.

Can't be mad at her. Okay maybe a little. Actually not at her, but at the industry. Still trying to figure out why book publishers take such huge gambles. When will publishers realize that they sell books, not movies? How many hardcovers is she going to have to sell to earn out her advance?

But best to her. She's freakin' hilarious and truly talented. Her rendition of Sarah Palin is absolutely classic.
